'On The Verge' by Eric Overmeyer is a funny, mystical, magical adventure by three intrepid lady travelers from the year 1888 into 'Terra Incognita' (unknown territory) where they meet everyone from a cannibal to a troll, to a fortune teller (all played by the same actor.) As they travel through parts unknown and the audience's imagination they discover that they are also moving through time to the year 1955. During their journey they discover courage in themselves to launch into an unknown future.
The play is a family friendly romp through the mind's eye that incorporates vocabulary, geography, history, poetry, participation, and theatre. All of that and laughs too!
