Those Celtic knots have long fascinated us and in this class you will learn how to draw, decorate and color knots with simple tools and no complicated setups. We will work out the knots on graph paper and then transfer them to good paper for painting or coloring in. Participants will learn to construct a simple Celtic knot, and play with double spirals.
This is a great class to supplement calligraphy, paintings, and scrapbook pages and are an ancient form of Zentangle. No drawing skills required – just a willingness to travel along ancient pathways of light and color!
Supply list of items for students to bring: Graph paper, tracing paper or light box or a bright window, Mixed media or watercolor paper, pencil, a thin waterproof marker pen, eraser, ruler, compass, paints or pencil crayons, reading glasses (if needed).
